What a Halloween Night!

Cicle Mitjà students went to the Teatre Bartrina last Tuesday 26th November to watch the theatre play WHAT A HALLOWEEN NIGHT! performed by The Performers Ink Company.
This play was a full English language experience for our 3th and 4th year pupils, as it was totally spoken in English.
At the same time, they could enjoy the atmosphere of being in a real theatre place, as Teatre Bartrina is.
Here you are some moments taken in and out of the theatre place.

Recipes for kids

http://kidshealth.org/kid/recipes/#cat20229http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/collection/kids-cooking5th year students are working on recipes.  They have got a few of them both in the Student's Book and in the Activity Book, and they can cook them at home under parents supervision.  But if any of them feels like experiencing some more cooking, here you are some websites where they can find lots of recipes to be cooked by children...and parents!    Enjoy your meal!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jofNR_WkoCE6th year students have worked in animals sounds today on their Fridays Workshop.  They have listened to Ylvis song The Fox (What Does the Fox Say?) and have learnt what sounds different animals do in English, but couldn't guess the sound of the fox ... can you?
Enjoy this funny video and have fun!

Workshop at 6th year

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jkTkpgAfcrMhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujv3c0TqLRk6th year students are enjoying a reading and comprehension, writing and listening workshop on Fridays at "complementària".  After a couple of months since the beginning of the school year, they have been working on some texts and in a couple of songs.  Music is a great way to learn a language, so it is worth it to take it into account from time to time.  Click on the pictures on the sides of this text so you can find these two songs with their lyrics for all the family to practise it at home.  They are We Are The Champions by Queen, and Sigh No More by Mumford and Sons.  Let's karaoke!!
