Hi there!

Children at 4th year worked some tongue twisters in a lesson and they studied and learned them at home.  Next day, they said these tongue twisters in the classroom and here you are the result.  It's never easy to learn tongue twisters, especially in a foreign language.  But I think they did a great job! Shopping list

Hello everybody!👋
5th year students are learning about food, recipes, healthy habits🍎 and junk food🍟.  I'm sure that most of them help their parents with the shopping list at supermarkets🏢.  Well done!👏  If not, they can practice with the next game, as well as they learn or remember some of the vocabulary studied in the lessons.
The aim of the game is to put all the elements from the shopping list📝in the supermarket trolley.  Players have 60 seconds⏰ to do it, so hurry up! Read the instructions by clicking in the "How to play" notebook📕 next to the till💻at the desk.  Have fun and shop💶!
Ready-o? Let's go!

The House that Jack Built, by Aliona

Video
Aliona delighted her classmates and teacher with this storytelling activity in an English lesson.  She had prepared this popular nursery rhyme at home with her mum, and she had even drawn the different stages of the story.  Once at school, she asked me for permission to carry out the activity and ... I couldn't say no!

Pony Boy by P4

P4 students are here to delight you with their own version of Pony Boy, lullaby written by Bruce Springsteen.  This is one of the songs we sing at the end of every lesson to chill out before saying good bye.  And after a year and a half at Escola ARCE, it seems they have learnt it quite well.  Fancy watching the video and singalong? Let's go!

PS: Focus on the children and forget about the poor singing qualities of the teacher.

Shark in the Park

One of our 6th grade students offered her classmates a great storytelling time.  I have to say storytelling is not an easy activity to carry out.  To act out the story at the same time it is read or explained, so that the listeners enjoy and understand what it is all about, is a difficult task.
I invite you to watch the video clicking on the picture that goes along with this text and enjoy as much as we did in the classroom with this hilarious and funny story called "Shark in the park" by Nick Sharratt.

Classroom routines

Here you are a video where you can see our little students at P4 acting out some classroom routines or actions.  They learn these routines all throughout Kindergarten since P3 up to P5; we usually work them out at the beginning of a lesson, so they break with their previous classroom activity with their tutor and start listening and singing in a joyful way their English lesson.  Fancy having a look at P4 students? Click on the picture to watch the video. Ready-O, let's go!

Hello, good morning!

"Hello, good morning! How are you today?"
Here you are the first words students listen when I enter the classroom. And after some time practicing their answer, they have finally completed the process of learning it. That is to say, now they say "Hello, good morning! I'm fine, thanks!"
Now it's time for you to watch them and let them practise at home ... are you ready? Let's go!
