Escola ARCE Pedala

Hi there!

Once more, ARCE Pedala week was here and both children and teachers had a great time , surrounded by bikes, literally!

In the English lessons, children had the opportunity to experience cycling clothes and complements, real material provided by an enthusiastic teacher who is a bike addict.  I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I did when taking them.  Bike safe!

Keep calm and ... ride safe!

Here you are a couple of videos of riding bikes.  The first one is made by a professional and you are not recommended to try his tricks.

The second video is about the rights and the duties of cyclists.  It is a video based in the USA traffic rules, but for sure we can apply many of them here in our country.

I hope you enjoy the videos and ride your bikes as much as you can, always safe and right.  Have fun!

Parts of the bicycle

G'day bikers!

Last year, I propose an activity an online game called "Parts of the bicycle" which you can still visit on this blog by clicking on the link above.

Today I want to show you a couple of videos where you can learn the parts of a bicycle.  They are easy to follow, as you can read or listen to the vocabulary.

Have a quick view to them  and ... go to ride your bikes!

Cycling stickman games

I am sure you are a great fan of stickman, this simple but very active picture of a person so popular all around the globe, that helps us everywhere we go with information and directions easy to understand with just a few sticks.  Exactly the same happens with the games you can find below.  They are easy to play and have a lot of fun, at the same time you learn a few words in English.  Take turns at home to play and involve your parents in the game.  You will have a great time together!
